Schaumburger Hof in Bonn

The location on the Rhine is simply great! The food tastes really good. SORRY, the service is not professional ... the waitress was lost and knew almost nothing about the dishes .. We were 9 people and almost everyone of us, after the order was taken, "had to choose something again because there weren't many dishes! The menu was wrong, they didn't have the current menu, the extra orders weren't brought. Hopefully it will improve, a nice traditional eatery, would be a shame if that didn't happen.

Wonderful beer garden. Now also with a tent, which with radiant heaters provides pleasant warmth in the cold months. Delicious food with a good wine or beer. What more do you want. Staff is attentive and friendly.

In all honesty, in front of the Obi, I've eaten better currywurst. I paid € 9.90 for the sausage. I would rather buy one at the Obi and take the Wurscht down to the Rhine to enjoy the view. Not recommended!!!

The food is expensive, as are the drinks. The tip is not split. The staff is friendly and the view of the Rhine is very nice. The view can also be seen from two benches down on the Rhine, as an alternative to the Schaumburgerhof, which I can only warmly recommend.

The food was so overpriced and bad that even the view of the Rhine couldn't comfort my wallet and stomach. On the way home I just thought "why did I do this to myself", I would have preferred to get a Köftespieß menu with Ayran from next door and sit down by the Rhine. At least I would have saved and would have been full.

The food was bad and overpriced. 10 € for a currywurst that every takeaway store makes better ?? Had to wait forever for the bad food and were served unfriendly. Will never go there again and advise everyone else the same.

You sit here a few meters above the bike path with a great view of the Rhine. Friendly staff and well-tapped Kölsch. The bikes are in view.

For me the most beautiful beer garden in the region. Delicious food and mostly nice service, although they are often not yet professionals (what's the name? Matjes ??)

Service was good, but it wasn't full either. Food 4/5 stars, french fries could have been longer and schnitzel was a bit dry. Otherwise delicious, great location.

Beer garden / restaurant in a perfect location on the Rhine with a great view of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge. Contact data can be transmitted by mobile phone after scanning a QR code and the menu can also be loaded onto the mobile phone - perfect! The service is friendly and good, the food rather average. The location obviously makes the price, not so much the food.

Been here again after a long time and we were pleasantly surprised by the staff. Very friendly, very courteous and helpful as we have never known before. Even our dog was brought a bowl of water without being asked. Our food was good too and the place and location as such is wonderful anyway ..

Friendly staff, well located and delicious food. I would have ordered a Mediterranean plum cake and an ice chocolate. I will gladly come again!

Beautiful location, pleasant staff & lovely wine & food (we ate salads)

Disastrous service. We waited 45 minutes for 4 cold drinks and were only served because we actively addressed the service staff passing by. Otherwise we would probably still be sitting there today and being treated like air. We decided not to eat because of the long wait and will definitely not come back. Because there are beautiful beer gardens elsewhere too.

Beautifully located, with a direct view of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge. Great seating under the trees. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with the service. We came to the, presumably still early vision, which was very friendly and coordinated. The change to the late shift was rather disappointing. Lots of staff, but they didn't really have an overview. The reactions of some guests were accordingly. The currywurst is recommendable, although not that cheap.

A unique place

The incomparably beautiful location of the Schaumburger Hof in itself makes the visit and the meal there an unforgettable experience. The restaurant with a large garden is located directly on the Rhine. It is a pleasure to spend time here and to be entertained friendly and attentively.

Very nice beer garden with delicious dishes and very good draft beer! The atmosphere is really good, you really sit here and have a great view of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge! The interior is also very chic and nicely decorated. The staff has always been very friendly and attentive! Would like to come here regularly! Price-performance ratio is also right!

Friendly service, great food and drink

This place is very near my house, and so my family eats here regularly. We love the view, and the food. I always order the bratwurst, and I have never been dissapointed in what I was served. The location is great, as it overlooks the rhine river and the mountains across it. Would highly recomend for travelers.

Really Cousy place, great food

Friendly service and good food, great seasonal menu and excellent wines, with a fantastic view from the beer garden over the Rhine onto Petersberg and Drachenfels.

Dreadful, arrogant service. Waitress brought menus, then left us to wait for 25 minutes. I finally had to get up and go over to the waitress, her response was "I am busy". Not even an apology. When we said that we were leaving, got a completely careless "Goodbye". Do they not even care about losing business? Real pity because the location is beautiful and the food looked really good.

Nice beer garden with great views of the Rhine. Schnitzel with mushroom sauce to be recommended, Currywurst rather not. Prices Ok. Fast and nice service. Good country beer on tap.

The food is alright but the staff can be overwhelmed if there are too many customers. Many come for the view.

Beautiful Beer Garden :)

This is a great place to go for drinks on a warm and sunny day, with good service and a perfect view of the Rhine river. But on cooler days, when sitting inside is more practical, some of the charm is lost. The service is still good, as is the view, but when inside, the somewhat high prices for food become more noticable.

Nice location with beautiful view, yong pleasant staff but unexploited potential as well as position. It's a pity for well known restaurant that, most of the time, half of garden with Rhein view stayed closed.??

Service is improving now they are fully staffed for the Summer. Great location. Food still not the best and beer served quite warm.

Nice staff, great location by the Rhine river. I'd recommend it, deducting a star because they lost our ourder and didn't even give us free drinks or something even though we waited for well over an hour and never complained... They were still nice though.

Beautiful view of the Rhein. Outdoor beer garden is where most people go. Service is courteous but a bit slow at times. Prices are only okay. Not cheap.

Very good view of the rhein

We made a quick stop at this place for ice-cream (picture attached). It was very tasty (chocolate/walnut) and large enough for two, but expensive (~€7). The view and location are unbeatable. Sit outside at the biergarten for a great view of the Rhine.
